Cosmetic Dentistry in Sandy Springs

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers can cover surface flaws on your teeth and restore or enhance tooth color. Sandy Springs Dentist Dr. Baier also uses this technique to help reshape teeth for a better smile. Today’s veneers allow him to preserve as much of the original tooth as possible. They bond many times more strongly than the veneers of just a few years ago and are more color-fast to give you a more natural, longer-lasting treatment.

Whitening

While numerous over-the-counter products are available for whitening your teeth, you still can get the best results from professional products applied by your dentist. Dr. Baier factors the health of your teeth and the extent of their staining to prescribe the optimum treatment to restore your smile.

Bonding & Contouring

Bonding is excellent for closing gaps, repairing chips and cracks, and protecting exposed roots. It’s very popular because of it:

  • Requires little or no anesthesia or drilling, fewer impressions, or less lab work. It can often be completed in one visit.
  • It is an excellent solution for front-teeth fillings.
  • Requires less tooth preparation
  • It is less expensive than veneers.

Contouring – or reshaping – is used to correct crooked teeth, chipped teeth, cracked teeth, or even overlapping teeth in just one session. In some cases, it can be a substitute for braces.

Very subtle reshaping can yield dramatic improvements, creating a beautiful smile with no patient discomfort at all.

Gingival (Gum) Sculpting

Great-looking gums create great-looking smiles. Many factors can contribute to the loss of gum tissue, making your teeth look longer. Conversely, some people have too much gum tissue, resulting in a “gummy” smile. Gum sculpting, a form of oral surgery, can sometimes alleviate appearance problems caused by too little or too much gum tissue, giving you a better smile and better dental health.

Invisible Braces

Invisible braces are a clear plastic form worn over your teeth to give you the same straight, beautiful smile you get with braces – but without metal and wires. A system of invisible braces is a series of custom-designed, removable shells, called aligners, that shift your teeth into straighter positions. You can remove them to eat, meaning you don’t have to give up your favorite foods.

Each aligner is made to be worn for two weeks before you replace it with another, which is designed to continue the repositioning of your teeth. And because they’re clear, they won’t attract any attention while you’re wearing them.

Thank you, It seems like such a small thing to say for such a lot that you’ve all done. Many thanks to you all for your kindness and patience in helping me achieve the beautiful smile I always dreamt I could have. I appreciate your hard work and gentle confidence.
